Fallout 4: Speculation, Suggestions and Ideas - Thread #87

In that case, cybernetic implants. Maybe your character can be an advanced artificial human. :| I just thought of something which may be good actually. How about you start off as an Advanced Artificial Human who doesn't know that he's actually a robot? It would be one hell of a twist that even makes M. Night Sha(insert rest of name here) surprised.
I think that would be a cool idea. But I don't really want to be an android in every playthrough, maybe as an option?

Or at the very least, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j9CPBOMqXE Because who the [censored] is Jimmy Whistles.

No Jimmy Whistles, it would make me hate children again and then you'd have to give me the option to kill him.

About the list dan reposted there is at least one thing I can garuntee will never happen: The removal of dungens. Honestly I don't see how the game would work that way. The exploration aspect is what made the last two so awesome. I get that many on here love the originals and want things to be much close to those, but it just won't happen. Removal of dungens would force beth to drastically change the way the game is set up and it just seems very unlikely. Personally I probably wouldn't play it if they removed them, as I loved exploring things and finding the hidden easter eggs, neat quests/locations (like dunwich) and other out of the way things.

I'm sure someone has suggested this before but here it is anyways (though it probably won't happen): Killable childern OR No childern. When my evil character kills a whole town I shouldn't have irritating invica-kids running around, preventing me from fast traveling.

Sorta like Wild Wasteland. It could be an un-named tradeoff that doesn't specify what it does. It would be for the people who are feeling curious I guess.

It isn't. http://www.giantbomb.com/killing-children/92-4067/
Well reading that, many games Don't have it because it's a really bad taboo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnkkBlRqyuQ. And i played some of those games, like dead space, you kill mutated/zombie non human children.

I think killing kids is illegal in games now. they can die, but if the player can kill them, it becomes illegal.
It isn't illegal, it would be get a lot of negative responses and things like that.

So what? People that love Fallout will still play the game and that's all that matters. They'd probably get blasted by Fox News or some other stupid conservative/non violence/christian organization but that's really a badge of honor. In this case, bad press is good press.

No i mean many people are against killing kids. Its a taboo people want to avoid. Why do you think there was no kid killing in DE:HR. There is nothing cool or special with killing kids. I don't care what people think, killing kids, even in video games, Thats [censored] up.

Unless, it's in a Bethesda game, they always make children in their games annoying.

1. I understand that, but if people don't want to kill kids, they shouldnt kill kids. It's as simple as that.
2. Frankly, I don't give a [censored] about that game or any other. This is Fallout.
3. I think is more of a role playing issue. If you're Roleplaying a sick sonofa***** you should be able to be one...
4. That's your opinion and that's fine, but don't try to force it on me. I should be able to do whatever the hell I want (realistically) in the game I bought without having other peoples moral agendas shoved down my throat.
