Post » Sat Sep 08, 2012 8:21 pm

The No requirements version is now......

RELEASED!

Get it from http://theelderscrolls.info/?go=dlfile&fileid=441!

The quests, resources, installation, etc. are all reported to be working perfectly. All you need is Shivering Isles and the above download. Included in the above package is an installation option which will allow you to enjoy the quests, gameplay, stories, characters, and every amazing facet of Integration with NO impact on your games core-gameplay experience!

The Daedric Revolution

An invasion is coming! A war between the mortals of Tamriel, and The daedra of Oblivion will rage across Cyrodiil. In times of war it is common practice to demonize your enemy, and band together in hate for them, but what if there was more to this story than meets the eye? ....
Integration: The Stranded Light immersively expands on the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion story, and seamlessly integrates itself into the world offering a more well rounded, and expansive story which includes all of Elder Scrolls lore into its gameplay and story rather than just what's convenient.

Features:
  • 80+ Quests featuring: multiple solutions, Choices and Consequences, character/event checks, scripted fights, and more!
  • 24+ hours of dialogue making for a massive amount of deep, fully characterized, and interesting NPCs to become aquainted with.
  • 2 Fully functional guilds, and 3 faction style guilds* all of which you can join and rise up the ranks in!
  • Includes 8 new lore-correct races which slowly breath new life into the populace of Cyrodiil.
  • Scripted combat situations which offers a multitude of tactics, and strategies.
  • An epic, immersive optional romance with full recognition of your character, true progression, and character growth!**
  • Thought provoking riddles, and quests with no hand holding. Now you have to use your skills, faction ranks, actions, and just about every asset you have to solve quests instead of a magic compass!
  • Average playing time of over 100 hours!!!
* No big guild halls for these, and you only have contact with a few people from the guild.
**She'll address you by the appropriate six/race and even comment accordingly. Also this is no 3 conversation, deep meaningful undying love at first sight thing, or a romance that just randomly decides to get you married out of nowhere.

Details, and background of features
Version 1.0 has been released as 4-11-11, with this the mod is finished, any further updates will be bug fixes, isolated add-ons, or technical updates.

In total, Integration: The Stranded Light offers more than 80 quests, five guilds, although of course not all quests are part of guilds. Additionally a whole lot of features, that will enhance Cyrodiil greatly.

An important aspect of Integration: The Stranded Light is discovery. A lot of mysteries and surprises are waiting for you to be found and solved. Over eighty quests. Five guilds, of which two are in direct conflict with each other. Choices and consequences. Very dialog heavy, including dialog trees, arguing and a lot more you won't see in Vanilla Oblivion. Use of the "Telvanni Tileset" and other resources for some unique places. The riddle of a lost city will play a role.

Changing the face of Cyrodiil sounds easy - just take a look at the smoldering ruins of Kvatch. How about changing the world for the better, for once? Every organisation begins small, with just a little headquarters somewhere. Though if you succeed in helping a guild to grow, attracting new members, an expansion may happen. Maybe an outpost here or there? What if their goal goes even further? There's enough unclaimed land on Cyrodiil's map for experiments!

Integration: The Stranded Light offers even more than guilds and quests. You'll get to know a lot of people, some better than others. And you may also get one of them interested in getting to know you better - a reciprocal relationship, developing according to your actions, and your reactions to the actions of others. And a (con-)quest for itself, because just winning the friendship of a Daedroth* is not an easy task, even more so delving into dark secrets some may be hiding. Do not expect an easy or early victory, if you choose to walk on this path.
(* = singular of Daedra)

The quests in Integration: The Stranded Light are not your usual hack&slay business: One goal was to add those kind of quests to Oblivion, that I felt missing. Those that require some thinking. Or have to be solved by other means than swords. Offering a multitude of different solutions.
What can you expect when playing Integration: The Stranded Light? The most important goal of this mod is to bring in new (although some would say "missing") kinds of quests into The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Quests with multiple solutions, using skills and accomplishments in dialogs, riddles and other possibilities to think.

http://tes.multimediaxis.de/?go=9xIntegrationFAQ

Known issues and incompatibilities:
- for some extremely strange reason I never was able to replicate for an absolute minority of players the game crash when "In Memoria" is started. Usually rebuilding your Bashed Patch (if present) or take off enchanted clothing /armor prevents this crash.
- if you're updating from an earlier version and have either met Kanaane or solved the "Suthay Decree" quest, use this console command once: StartQuest IntegrationUpdate
- Open Cities has a compatibility patch available at it's download location.
- there are no conflicts with Better Cities anymore.
- there are no conflicts with FCOM or Unique Landscapes.
- if you don't fulfill the above mentioned requirements, your game will crash. Or use the no requirements version.
- some dialog responses from the player seems like a bit too shortened. Unfortunately they are; player responses can only be about 38 characters long, so no way for the player to give elaborate answers. Game limitation.
- Integration's greeting topic may take precedence over Matius' dialogue after saving Kvatch. Complete the Suthay Decree quest if this causes any issues with Kvatch rebuilding mods.

Third-party optional add-ons:
____________________
As an additional gift there's also an Unique Clothes AddOn for EC available. Make sure to read the readme.

Facial options:
There's now another module: If you're unhappy with my faces, LazyMonk contributed an alternative to them. Use Wrye Bash's "Import NPC Face" feature for it. (Now if you're unhappy with both my faces and LazyMonks alternative faces, then ... there's always phoenix's faces:

The primary tester/suggester/advertiser for Integration has also taken up refining the faces some. Phoenix1213 has created two additional options in changing the faces; the first one keeps the faces mostly the same while refining some of the more drastic areas such as huge noses, caved in eyes, etc. The other option consists of an attempt to TNR-ize the Integration NPCs changing there faces dramatically to reflect their race, personality, and situation.
Refined 1 refined 2 3 4 5 6
Revamped 1, revamped 2

The Highly recommended Ohmes-Raht voice pack which gives Ohmes-Raht players and NPCs their own voice for greetings, combat grunts, etc.

3 small changes by Rylasasin. Read the readme for more info.

Better Telvanni normals by ishmaeltheforsaken. Improves tthe graphical quality ofthe telvanni tileset. (Alternate DL)

A dialogue mod by rylasasin adding race recognition and other such recognitions to the normal Oblivion quests. (Discussion topic)

Is there a way for, say, an argonian or a beast race to get it based on the [Race] dialog option (I think it was)? I certainly didn't have any luck with that approach with my Breton.

I am stuck at stage 10 of Oblivion's Real Estate (venicia wants a real high price....). I have been at this stage for 3 game weeks now. I saved Martin 4 weeks ago. The spoiler document is no help. Please help. It seems to be necessary to acquire the ruin before you can start any of the other quest lines.

Thanks.

@Dreamed1: The only "hidden" race success is for Wood Elves and Ohmes; which involves carrying a certain book with you. All other races either succeed or fail outright in this case.

@GamerRick: You can still start some quest lines without the ruin. Like the Suthay Decree, Disciplies of the Moment in the Shivering Isles, and other quest lines; but yeah getting the ruin is required for the main quest line.

To complete it you can:
steal as was mentioned in the earlier topic
Reach a certain point in the main quest line
Be a scary race
Or pay the 250,000 (50,000 if reduced)
Spoiler from the walkthrough I still need to finish

Spoiler
In any case after talking to Tesserayiel you will go to the Trade and Commerce building, and talk to the lady. If you’re a scary enough race the [race] solution is easy, also if you’re a bosmer, or a race that looks like a Wood elf/bosmer (Ohmes/hidden elf) you can show her book a “dance in fire 3” to succeed. the other options require:

[Event] Having completed the Spies quest in the Main quest, but not having completed the main quest.

[Mercantile] 50 skill to reduce the price. Or you can just pay the 250,000/50,000(when reduced)
If you can’t do any of those, you can also sneak into the Commerce office’s basemant and steal the deed from an open chest there. It is a small piece of paper on a book.
