I recently purchased a boxed version of Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition for PC. Before installing the DLC disc, I decided to just play the game without for the time being. I first ran it, it started the cut-scene fine, so I skipped it (having already seen this playing the console versions before) This is where I began to hear the sound effects for the birth scene, but the actual scene didn't play, the sound effects stopping but the ambiance still heard in the background. The game had COMPLETELY frozen, so I had to open up task manager to close it down. I started again, and it started working fine, up until the birthday party scene. About two minutes in, it froze again, in a similar way, so I had to close it down with task manager again. I continued this multiple times, and each time it froze at some point during the party scene. I re-installed the game multiple times, and now it freezes in this way at ANY point from the cut-scene to the birthday party scene. Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know how to fix this?
