Crysis 3 NO on screen objective markers NO Guiding VOICE

One thing I didn't like about Crysis 2 was the dumbed down feeling I got when everything was pointed out to me in the game. The on-screen objective markers and the "guiding voice" in the head should have a ON or OFF setting. The "guiding voice" in the head shouldn't give all information as to what needs to be done to complete a task - Doom3 was good at forcing you to figure things out for completing tasks. The Objective information is in the Objective menu. The layout map always has the objective marker. Figuring out how to achieve a task is part of making the game challenging and memorable. There was no need to think in Crysis2. Everything was handed to you via the "guiding voice" in the head and the on-screen objective markers. Boring!

I agree, Crysis 2 did hold the hand too much. The challenge without the voice wouldn't be too much more than with the voice, but it still was a bit much.

Am I the only one who didn't listen to the voice at all? lol

Anyway, on-screen objective markers are pointless. Not because they make everything easier, but because the objective is in the minimap, no real difference there.
