Almost 2 years and I still play new Vegas regularly it's really the game I have spent the most hours on in my life. It improves on what fallout 3 was good on, and makes it twice as good. The voice acting, believable characters, and entertaining quests make me never want to stop playing. The dlcs are even better. Honest hearts, and dead money are amazing. (Can't wait for fallout 4)

Have you given any thought to playing Fallout, Fallout 2 or Fallout Tactics? You can get them ready to play from GoG.com (Good old games) for very little about $6 a game. As I said ready to play, no need to download and install patches.

I have played 1 and 2. But I've never tried tactics. I might check other out

Ditto, same boat. Took a quick break to play skyrim...that was a bad decision, BUT it did open my eyes into Morrkwind which was an excellent decision, so now ive been playing morrowind with overhaul graphics and fonv modded to hell religously.
Hell I switch back and forth playthrus with differeny overhauls.

same here with skyrim. It's just so shallow compared to FNV. And morrowind with graphics overhaul Is amazing.
