Stuck on the Bloated Float

I'm at the final stage of the Unexpected Voyage quest where I sleep before waking up back in the imperial city, and it crashes every time I do it. Even trying setstage MS31 95 crashes it.

I searched the forum for references to this kind of crash, and the only thing I found was an issue with the Thieves Guild Elven Maiden Quest, but I haven't even joined the Thieves Guild Yet?

Is it a conflict with one of my mods?

If not a conflict, is my only option to go to a previous save before I even walked on the bloated float?

You might want to try loading up your mod list with TES4EDIT, then going to Oblivion.esm and looking at the quest in question. That should at least help you identify if any mods touch that quest.

As far as resolution, if you do find a conflicting mod you could try disabling it. You could also try using "coc" to move yourself, although that's going to leave the quest unresolved in your journal and possibly could cause other issues. Reloading an earlier save as you suggest is probably the safest choice.
