Don’t want to wait until 2013 to play Crysis 3? Well now you won’t have to!
Speaking with Aussie-Gamer, EA Australia have confirmed that Crytek’s upcoming first person shooter will be showcased at this year’s EB Games Expo, which runs between Octorber 5 – 7 at the Sydney Showgrounds.
Previously, EA’s line up for the Expo listed only Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and FIFA 13.
While details are still under wraps on whether Crysis 3 will be playable, this will be the first time Australian players can see the game in action.
Crysis 3 is a direct sequel to 2011′s well received Crysis 2 and once again puts players in the role of Prophet.
Taking place 24 years after the last game, Prophet is on a ‘revenge’ mission against the Cell Corporation who have encased New York City in a Nanodome. Within the dome, the once sprawling metropolis has been over-run with lush forests, murky swaps and flowing rivers.
Running on the powerful Crytek 3 engine, Crysis 3 is shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive titles of 2013. Speaking out in regards to the power of the game’s engine, and the game itself, developers Crytek are looking to reignite the popular meme/joke, ‘Yeah, but can it run Crysis?’.
Are you heading to EB Games Expo 2012? If you are, excited to see Crysis 3 in action well ahead of its release next year?
