"Dwarf Orc"

What's the origin of this name, I know that one of its first appearances where in the book "The Five Songs of King Wulfharth," but why was he called this?


-He wasn't a hybrid, that's pretty much impossible since you always take the race of your mother.
----Was his father an Orsimer?
-Was it only a title that the Nords gave him because of his strength/ferocity? <- Most likely IMO
-Did he have bad teeth?

It's cause he's a dork.

Because he was large for a Dwarf.

EDIT: to expand upon it. Dumac was probably fearsome for a Dwarf and had the same passion for honour and fighting as the Orcs. On the other hand it could be an insult from the Nords.

I heard it was a joke.

I've wondered this many times. In Five Songs of King Wulfharth, he is referred to as Dumalacath. Kinda makes you wonder why the Dwarven hammer, Volendrung, has come to be an artifact of Malacath, despite its origins.

Volendrung wouldn't have been near the happening of Red Mountain. It was on the other side of the continent in the hands of a Rourkan.

I realize that. My point is that there are two instances connecting the Dwarves and Malacath: Dumalacath and Volendrung. What I want to know is whether these instances hint towards a deeper connection, or if they're just random.
