Hello, Morrowind forum! I have yet to take on stealth in this game. I enjoyed it in Oblivion a LOT, especially with the DB questlines and the Thieves Guild. Stealth was alright in Skyrim. Easily broken with Shadow Warrior though. The backstab in particular was my favorite. Now I am taking stealth to Morrowind and would like some pointers. Anything you could think of would be much appreciated. Also, besides general advice, I'd like some pointers with character classes. I am going to make a Dunmer. I have decided on short blade, stealth, light armor, security and Mercantile(to fetch a nice price for the loot I steal) That is all I have so far. What other skills would come in handy for an assassin? Illusion definitely looks nice, I just don't know if I want to spend resources on attaining higher amounts of magicka for spells. Marksman could come in handy, possibly use throwing stars/knives? ARe they effective? I assume agility would be important and would make a nice attribute to specialize in. Would speed be a good choice, or should I sacrifice it for Personality to aid Illusion and Mercantile(and possibly Speechcraft)?

Are the sneak attacks good in this game? They are very deadly when perked out in Skyrim and would like to know if the same would apply here. Although I bet it'd be like Oblivion where the higher your skill, the more sneak attack critical bonuses you get.

Which short blade is best for assassinating people? My instinct tells me its the dagger, but I really don't know. Wakizashi seem to be the best for overall combat, but I assume the dagger would have some uses.

Thanks for the help
