The Countess' bodyguard failed!

Wow, I was traveling near that inn where the npc asks you to kill slaughter fish for 12 fish scales near IC when I saw that wandering countess with her bodyguard that are always on the road. A bandit came out of no where, killed the countess and in turn got killed by the bodyguard. He then turned to me and said "Yes, citizen?" :D

Poor bodyguard. He's gonna be like the forlorn watchman I bet.

He failed to protect her, but if you pick up a bowl you don′t own and put it back on the table, he will slaughter you

Ya know, I'd forgotten that at least one countess travels the roads (well, some of them) of Cyrodill with bodyguard. I've not seen that happen in ages. Much as my avatar is on those roads surely we would have noticed. Wonder what happened? Can't recall any missing royalty in the Province, but then my avatar hasn't needed to visit any of the castles save Leyawiin in some good while. (The Leyawiin countess is alive and well, thank you.)
