New here; is this a very active forum?

So I was looking for a fallout forum and found this one, and I'm wondering: Is this forum very active? If not, could someone kindly refer me to one that is?

These forums are still pretty active since New Vegas came out.

It's the only place I feel like we can be heard by the devs and BGS themselves.

New Vegas has far more topics and views than Fallout 3. We have some passionate fallout fans and that's what keeps me here.

You've stumbled onto the offical forums. These are certainly active, and comes with a more neutral tone to the more recent games than No Mutants Allowed! or Duck and Cover (both of which tend to be "Anything after Fallout 2 is ****, New Vegas excluded. No other exceptions." )

That doesn't mean we're behind the new games 100% (or even 50% for some posters here,) it just means that we're more willing to overlook some faults as acceptable, while saying others should be changed. (i.e abandoned buildings shouldn't have power, but I don't want to play in pitch-black buildings all the time, so I guess it's ok. But why is 200 year old salsbury steak still edible?!?)

The Devs are known to stalk these forums, occassionally posting, but always looking for input (even if the ones we really want get ignored...) So, you can bet that these forums are pretty active.

Also, http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg! It's traditional to give one new people to the forums. At least from The Elder Scrolls section (where I tend to be the most active...)

Hi and welcome to the forums

Yeah, it's still a pretty active forum, and probably the most active Fallout: New Vegas forum out on the internet, considering the game is now about 2 years old.

Anyway, since this isn't really about Fallout New Vegas, I'm closing it. Also, if you want to introduce yourself, please do so in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1358208-introduce-yourself/, thanks.

New Vegas has far more topics and views than Fallout 3. We have some passionate fallout fans and that's what keeps me here.
A large reason for this though, is simply because Fallout 3 is an older game. And older posts tend to be pruned away eventually. It doesn't mean it was less active during it's heyday. It's very hard to now tell which one had the most active forum for the first ~2 years after the game launch or whatever.
