99.99% chance that it won't.

99.99% chance that it won't.

But, C2 Maximum Edition came to Steam, so there is a small chance... However, I don't really care if it's Origin-only

Crytek says they are thinking about alternatives to Origin, but at the moment it seems like it will be only available to Origin :)

I guess it depends on DLC, at least that's the reason why it was removed from Steam. Steam has some policies about DLC that EA didn't seem to agree with, but when they packaged the dlc with the Maximum Edition C2 reappeared on Steam (and I think some other EA games too).

Crysis 2 was released before Origin was out, therefore it's easier to simply package all the DLC and re-launch it. Future games I'm sure will be different.

There's no way that EA will allow a developer they have a contract with to add a game to Steam, when they have their own proprietary DD program to push to the masses. Let's be realistic here.

The only reason was because it was basically already on Steam before they removed it, repackaged it and re-released it again. New games won't necessarily be on steam

I think it depends on sales...If they hit their revenue goals it will stay Origin exclusive most likely. If they don't....Steam will most likely be the first candidate to fill the variance.

Or they'll bundle C3 with the board game, hehehe ;)
