Music you will like to see in the next Fallout..

Post » Fri Sep 21, 2012 5:11 am

Personally, I would like to see some of the songs from FO: 3 and FO: New Vegas, like Swing Doors, Anything Goes, Blue Moon, and Somethings Gotta Give. Another song that I think would go great in FO: 4 would be Sh-Boom by the Chords, and other music of that style.

play me a frigid air - sid peltyn & his orchestra

It's from the roaring 20's and oddly enough can only be heard on myspace. lol... Heard it on a radio station here in L.A.

Also adding to the new forms of music, the moog synthesizer was invented in the 50's..... So electronic music would definitely evolve. Just saying.

Although, I agree to keep the 50's as the staple. What I do want is a pirate radio/television questline with raiders. When I feel like Fallout when I'm out and about I throw on the Ink Spots radio station on Pandora.

Invented doesn't mean used to make songs as they are nowadays...

lol, I really don't want electronic music in the game. Could've worked in the mojave with raiders at a rave only because of the desert setting.

Other than that, I don't expect them to stray from the 50's era. Maybe the next Deus Ex becomes more like Fallout, I'd have it there for sure.

I'd like to hear Avantasia in the next game. There's a song called "The Final Sacrifice" off of the second album in their highly-acclaimed "The Metal Opera". (http://youtu.be/g8yfilEymiA if you'd like to hear it) Then again, it's not from the 50s (2001 to be exact), so it probably wouldn't make it into the game. But it does have a heavy feel to it, as well as excellent aggressive vocals - it would be good as a battle track. ;)

This, I like that.

No metal please.

Anyways, thanks to Fallout my library is filling up with 50's all beside my techno. Being a DJ and all, that is a pretty weird pair. I guess I could play weddings now with all this 50's era and below that I have.

I think the late sixties are not that good for Fallout but anyways,
Jackie Washington's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Js25OGb1vdU would make 'my morning' in my wasteland home in my rusty kitchen, so warm and nice :) after that, let's go killing mutants!!
But this song would be great only in the radio at hideouts like a nostalgia of pre-war life..

Seconded, just heard it on youtube. Great atmosphere for when we come across Raiders. Hopefully this time, not hostile if we become allies.
