It seems the Left Handed Elves can't differentiate between Orcs and Goblins because they refer Malooc (goblin horde king) to refer to Malacath, the Orc King.
I suppose this topic was made in reference to the post I had made within your last thread.
Very little is known about the Left-Handed Elves. There isn't anything in the lore that I know of that mentions the Left-Handers even recognizing Malooc. As far as I know, Malooc was a god known only to the Yokudans, or Ra'Gada.
We know that the Ra'Gada supposedly wiped out the Left-Handers. What we don't know is when, exactly. We also know that the Ra'Gada mislabeled Orcs as goblin-kin upon their arrival in Hammerfell. In Skyrim, we learn that the Orcs have a deep cultural affiliation with the material orichalcum. Before Skyrim's revelation, orichalcum was only known to be used by the Left-Handers in constructing the orichalcum tower, and it was introduced to the Ra'Gada by Diagna in order to defeat the Left-Handers. It is unknown on whether or not Malooc was recognized by the Ra'Gada before or after the Left-Handers' fall from glory. Personally, I do not believe the Ra'Gada truly brought the Left-Handers to extinction. Allow me to explain.
In
Vivec's Sword-Meeting, one individual claims that the Left-Handers had an empire four times the size of Tiber Septim's. It seems like an obvious exaggeration at first, but let's pretend for a moment that the Left-Handers held Trinimac in the highest regard. Some sources say that Trinimac was held in higher regard than even Auri-El by some Aldmeri, and many more sources claim that Trinimac was the strongest of all et'Ada. The gods of TES are empowered by the faith of mortals. If we consider the statements made about the Left-Handers' empire as accurate, and if we consider the idea that they were primarily devoted to Trinimac, it only makes sense why he was more powerful than even his king, his forebear. As for the Ra'Gada, we know that they are badass. We also know that they are capable of incredibly powerful "sword-magic", and that they can produce a powerful force within a being known as a HoonDing. As I mentioned earlier, Diagna was the god who introduced orichalcum to the Ra'Gada, and it was through the use of orichalcum that they were able to ultimately defeat the Left-Handers. Diagna was also a HoonDing. Nobody ****s with the HoonDing, so I can't help but wonder why it was necessary for the Ra'Gada to employ orichalcum against the Left-Handers while a HoonDing was present. Seems a bit overkill when we consider the boons and abilities of the Ra'Gada. I believe the Left-Handers had Trinimac at the time, and I believe orichalcum has a deep religous significance with Trinimac. As for the extinction of the Left-Handers, I believe the remnants became the Orsimer. This is based on the association of orichalcum with the Orsimer, and the idea that Malooc wasn't recognized by the Left-Handers because he did not exist until after Trinimac's fall. It is also worth mentioning that the Ra'Gada holding a seathing hatred for the Orsimer. Perhaps they recognize their ancient foes to a degree within the Orsimer.
So you see, this is my theory. There may be details I do not know of that disprove it completely. It mostly fits, and it gives a new outlook on the Orcs and why the Ra'Gada hate them so much. I do find it odd that the Left-Handers constructed their Tower away from Tamriel. As far as I know, it is the only Tower not constructed on Tamriel. It is the "pariah" of the Towers.
