Suggestions for my 2-5-4-8-9-9-3 character?

Hello everybody,
I'm new to Vegas, I've just installed the game.

I'm in the character creation and I'm thinking about a geek-thief-like character with these specials:
STR 2
PER 5
END 4
CHA 8
INT 9
AGI 9
LUC 3
I have also picked " Good natured " and "Wild Wasteland". I'm thinking about a lig ht armored character, good with pistols and medicine, proficient in speechcraft, science and lockpicking. I'll try to solve as many problems without a fight as possible.

Do you think this build is viable? Did I exagerate with 2 in strength, will I suffer later from weakness? I'm also thinking about lowering Luck to 1 and putting more in Perception (although it's ironical for a thief to not care at all about his luck :frog:)
I'm basically asking if you played characters like this and if you have some suggestions for my initial choices so I wouldn't suffer too much later. Thank you!

with 2 Str dont expect to use Melee, Unarmed or Guns... you'll be forced to use only half of the Energy weapons availble in the actual game plus you'll have trouble carrying your loot

Take out 3 points from CHA and put them into STR, trust me you wont regret it

Well, if he isn't going to use weapons himself then he can get ED-E and Boone and let them do all the fighting for him.
He can also get a STR Implant at the clinic which raises it to 3 and then take the perk Weapon Handling which decreases STR REQ's on weapons by 2, meaning he can use most rifles, SMG's and pistols.

So it can work, but don't expect to have good accurcy until you've taken Weapon Handling and the STR implant.

If you're going for geek then maybe you should take the Cha down a few points and raise your Strength to about 4 or 5.

Definitely gonna work best in a team of three - the strength of 2 means you'll be a pistol character, which can work out fine with lots of mods and the right perks, but you're going to want a couple of people to cover your back with some heavier damage, albeit slower fire. I'd suggest Rex because he tends to take the aggro off you. Also, this way you'll actually be able to carry a decent amount of stuff.

Thank you for help :foodndrink: I'll change strength back to 5 then, from luck and charisma. What would I benefit more between perception and endurance?

I suppose from a RP point of view, being a geek-thief I'd go with higher perception. Good to know your surroundings.
Go through the list of perks too to check speciAl requirements. I do this mistake all the time and end up spending skill points in intensive training.
