TES III: Return to Vvardenfell

In the waning years of the
Third Era of Tamriel,
a prisoner born on a certain day
to uncertain parents was sent
under guard, without explanation, to Morrowind,
ignorant of the role he was
to play in that nation's history…


...But now it's time to return


This is a huge project that I've been working on in different ways for quite some time now, and finally I've decided to really combine my ideas into one large project. This is going to alter many, many of the things that have been seen in this game for the 10 years it's been out. Bring more longevity to it, as well as making everything fit with the idea that, at least I have, when i hear descriptions of some of the towns.

Some of the many changes that are being made include...

Rebuilt/altered cities
I've always felt like some of the cities were not at all what I expect to see when I read the descriptions written about them, or when NPCs are talking about them. This attempts to fix that.

Expanded friendly and enemy creatures/NPCs
It seems like once you hit level 20 all the challenge is gone from the game. The way they decided make things harder when you move into the expansions at higher level was to give everything reflect spells. This will attempt to fix that. Bring more variety to the creatures you encounter, as well as make more sense about what you see, and where.

Expanded quests/factions
The formula is so basic. Do 5 or so quests in this town, move to the next one. Finish all the towns quests, and become head of the guild. I would like to change that. It doesn't make sense that NPCs in the mages guild are doing research to advance, but you're told to go kill this person and come back. I also find that there are a lot of inconsistencies within the world. Why are guards shaking down citizens in Seyda Neen, but not anywhere else? Why does a mysterious elf fall out of the sky with notes of research, but no home or lab to be found?

New and missing items
Missing pieces of armor and weaponry. Including armor that is in other games, but not Morrowind. Elven armor, which is in previous games, as well as newer ones, but not Morrowind. Wouldn't all armor made by elves be considered "elven"?

Here is the album of work I've done on this. It will be updated regularly, and doesn't have screens of everything I've done. Also keep in mind some of the work is old, and will be changed before final release.

Now of course something like this is a HUGE amount of work for one person. If anyone would like to assist with things like interior building, city expanding, creature modding, etc.. I would gladly accept the help. Please just PM me and we'll talk about how you can help.
