I just got New Vegas 2 days ago and I'm loving it. But I'm having trouble on who to side with. Legion? NCR? Mr. House? It seems that all three of those factions want something for themselves. What is the benefits of allying yourself with Yes Man?

It creates an independent vegas. Some consider it something of a last resort if u screw up the other story lines. I dunno, I also like the idea of an independent vegas. It's ur choice so choose how u would like to see the Mojave after the game. Or, go crazy and finish the game four times using all four options and then decide which u liked best. It's at least recommendable to finish the game with different builds a couple of times, the game experience really changes with the build of your character.

All the factions have their ups and downs and are all varying shades of grey rather than black or white. Part of the fun of the experience is exploring these factions and characters and making your own decisions. If you aren't sure who to side with then don't. Just keep exploring the world and the different factions-this will probably take more than 2 days to accomplish though.

Yes Man represents the independent option so you have to work with all the smaller factions. You can try and make New Vegas an independent nation, an anarchic hell hole or something in-between depending on your choices.
