Real Pipboy Project?

Post » Fri Sep 28, 2012 8:38 am

I've recently come across a project developed by "Paint me a perfect world productions" and it left me in awe, I'm currently throwing money at the screen waiting for them to finish the dead line, but alas even if they were to somehow finish, they have not reached the goal they wished they could. Anyway, to explain the topic; this 'production' is trying to create a Pipboy 3000, that's right, a REAL FUNCTIONING Pipboy 3000; If this doesn't make you bonkers, I don't know what will.
I just really wanted to share this with you guys and gals. Mostly because I have faith some of you will also want this to happen, and maybe even donate for the good fight.

Is anyone else wanting to make this happen?

I really hope so, because this would be great.

I apologize if this is considered spam, I didn't know and just wanted to share this amazingness with the rest of my Post-Apocalyptic Brothers and sisters.

I apologize if that was too much colour.

Meh.

The US army is already developing a http://dvice.com/assets_c/2010/10/wirst-mounted-displays-us-army-thumb-550xauto-48977.jpg for use with the "Future Warrior" program.

A version of something like this traces its roots to 1980. Kudos to "Paint me a perfect world production" but they're late on the bandwagon.

In fact, here's some links for ones that are in the market already.

One could also simple attack their phone to their wrist. It just wouldn't have the cool aesthetic look.
