So My friend downloaded Fallout 2 from GoG, Good ol' Games, and it's fullscreen but has the infamous color bug, I was going to buy it but alas I don't want that bug, any way that I can fix that? It's either that or buy it from steam... but i'm boycotting steam for a glitch in their system, bought a game and it never downloaded, said I need to buy the game... again...

any ways! any ideas guys? and gals.

That svcks. That is the first I have heared of someone getting that bug from GoG.com. I bought it from Steam and had that bug. I have it with my orginal copies of the games. I was told GoG.com doesn't come with that bug. I didn't have any troubles with it and I have been telling people to get it from there.

I am not sure about getting patches with a downloaded game. Maybe you can try messing around with the colour resolutions.

Is it fully full screen or is there black spaces along the sides of the screen?

What is your friend's OS, and video hardware? It would seem that the OS or maybe the video card has issues with, or an inability to render 256 color modes correctly.
