I feel guilty.

Hence the title, it's because I have been killing NCR rangers for there ranger combat armour lawl.

Anyway, is it bad? Is it going to ruin some quests?
And also I've been killing rangers with names, not 'NCR Veteran Ranger'

P.S I've just noticed, "HOWDAFUQ CAN U B 1st RECON WITHOUT A SNIPER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!!?!!?!?!?!?!????"

But seriously, they just have hunting rifles! No scopes! (Except Corporal Sterling)

Sniping doesn't necessarily mean having a scope. Its just being a a very good marksman.

If you're siding with the NCR then yes, it's bad.

If not then it's fine. It will cause you to fail quests but nothing can make you fail the main questline and most quests having nothing to do with NCR rangers.

Oh, bugger.
Don't worry! I haven't gone over the top and gave Boone a fully repaired set and got 2 fully repaired sets in the lucky 38! Heheh....

What I was saying was, is there a quest that requires any named characters at the ranger stations?

Companions can't wear faction armor. So you hace to get Boone some Riot gear.

He can actually, just put the armour in his inventory. Note he will only wear the first set of clothes you gave him.

They can wear it if they are associated with that faction.
Veronica will wear BoS PA for example.
