It doesn't feel like the Fallout I've come to love. On top of that its got a hellish difficulty curb. I'm at the part where you just triggered the event from the tower, does it get any better from here?

Don't worry, you're almost done. It gets a bit easier after you enter the hotel, which is soon. But then the difficulty spikes again in the climactic dungeon. Dead Money is a game that gets much easier on a subsequent playthrough though.
