Dead is dead, never play the game again

For people not familair with Dead is Dead (DiD), if your character dies ingame you have to start over, except when it happens due to a bug. I'm going to take make this more intense, take it a bit further and play Morrowind DiD. But this time, when my character dies, that's it, the game is over, the character is dead and I won't play the game (ever) again. I've poured hundreds of hours in Oblivion, Skyrim, a little bit of Daggerfall and only started Morrowind a few times to check out the mods. I've never been past the first Silt strider.

So any tips would be welcome, what race, birthsign, etc should be recommended or avoided. I'm going to play on normal difficulty using only the morrowind graphics overhaul mod and the unofficial bugfix patch. Because I only get one chance to play this, undoubtly great, game I want to make sure my character focuses on survivability.

I hope you get your moneys worth if you quit after one blind DiD :ermm:, just sayin'. I'd advice you to watch the skies for cliff racers... most of us still hear their awful squawking in our nightmares.

  • Lol. are you serious? Why not just quit now?
Naw, just kidding. That would be way too much pressure for me, and I do some DiD stuff myself.

Mission Impossible. Nice to meet you. :teehee:
Well.
Listen to the advice of the NPCs.
Equip teleportation spells and scrolls.
Do not mess with bugs bigger than you.
When you want to cross puddles, remember, it's better to have wet feet, rather than the whole body.
Heal frequently.
Abuse of chameleon spell.
And much more.
