Lesser Daedra as possible heroes, playable races? Plausible?

And by Lesser Daedra I mean Daedra that are not the big 17 Princes.

The heroes of Tamriel have always been one of the mortal races(Nord,Imperial,Altmer,Khajit, etc.) but what about some of the intelligent humaniod Daedra - Dremora, Mazken, Aureals, etc.? Game-play-wise there is nothing preventing them from being plausible as they use the same animations as men/mer/beastfolk, so the conflict would be lore/cannon. Would it make sense? Could it be plausible? Would a Daedra do it? The Daedra are highly unknowable. What little we do know is based on inaccuracies, conjecture, rumour, myth. Who are we to conclude that a Daedric being can't fulfill a prophecy pertaining to Nirn? There are ways they could be binded to the mortal realm until physically banished. Conjurer's experiment gone wrong? Daedric Prince's will? Aedric deal with Daedric Prince for one of his servants?

I guess a good way too sum up my question for this discussion is: how far-fetched is it? Daedra have always played a significant part in all TES games. Either as main baddies, Summonable minions, or in Morrowinds case; actual inhabitants to some extent. Would you like to see them as new playable races? Summerset isle is without doubt a magical oriented place. If the next TES took place there I don't see why their inhabitants would be freaked out seeing a Dremora walking down the street. They probably see daedra every day!

Summerset is like the anti-Daedra capital of the universe. The Altmer came up with 'Aedra' and 'Daedra' thing and cast two groups of people out for affiliation with them. As to why they are generally not subject to prophecy completion/inclusion is because the Daedra did not take part in creating Nirn, and the vast majority of your prophecies come from the Elder Scrolls, an Aedric tool. Daedra really have no care for Mundus, other than it being a big play ground to entertain themselves with.

Unlikely.

The Daedra (typically) aren't born, but are immortal and are (largely) loyal to their Daedric Lord. They care about Nirn as much as your typical hero cares about any specific realm in Oblivion- with the exception of the Champion of Cyrodiil/Divine Crusader/New Sheogorath, the realms of Oblivion aren't viewed as all that important to Nirn. Aside from the source of artifacts and Daedra, they don't have an impact on Nirn. And, from a Daedra's standpoint, Nirn is the source of those damn heroes that keep killing you, but can't otherwise really affect what goes on in Oblivion.

Heck, the only reason the Divine Champion became involved with the Shivering Isles is because Sheogorath decided that "Hey, Lemmie see if one of those heroes from Nirn can stop the Greymarch! Or at least provide me some amusemant. Either one works."

A Daedra COULD impact Nirn, but it's not likely to happen outside of them being forced into that situation.

The Altmer religion is anti-Daedra. However the Altmer tend to pursue magical paths. And when you talk about magic Daedra are bound to get involved sooner or later. Just because they view Aedra as their ancestors does not prevent them from summoning Daedra to do their dirty work so to speak.

As for the second point, it could be argued that the Daedra have a bigger role to Nirn than we see. They may not have participated in it's creation, but that does not necessarily exclude them from "mortal affairs". It's just not as clear-cut as we think. The Aedra and Daedra are both essentially the same. And if they do just see Nirn as their playground then why would they stand back and watch it end. There has got to be more to it than that.

and the Thalmor are a very strict religious group with a tyrancial hold over the isles. Magickal puruit doesn't mean sacraligious communing and summoning of Daedra. Its highly unlikly, not impossible mind you, but for someone as religiously minded as the Thalmor and Altmer are its not likly going to happen.
