Translation:

All or almost know the story of James, the father of the Solitary Wanderer (Our PG in Fallout 3) and 's ambitious project Purity:
<--- James

Fallout 3:

In 'year 2277 James is presented as the father of Wanderer Solitary and medical Vault 101 in the first instance, while learning only later that James was also chief scientist and leader of Project Purity:

He runs the 'year 2258, James and his team are working hard to complete the grand project in Purity' building of the Jefferson Memorial, a private project is not funded, in collaboration with the Brotherhood D 'Steel (that of Lyons), designed to carry large changes in the quality of life for residents of the Capital Wasteland, literally capable of purifying water from the Potomac River from persistent and highly damaging radiation, which is still 200 years after the fall of the nuclear weapons prevent them from a safe source of water and hope for the population ..
On 13 July 2258 Catherine, wife of James, too 'it is part of the Project Purity, gives birth to the Lone Wanderer' inside of the Jefferson Memorial, but cuase of complications during childbirth, the woman loses life dramatically, leaving unwittingly James in the position of having to abandon the Project Purity and his staff to devote himself to his son.
James seeks asylum for himself and his son in a Vault, the Vault 101, and offered as a "new" doctor to return to the big favor. After reflecting the superintendent and his son James takes a few months to 'interior of Vault 101.

2258-2277:
James during the years go by in the Vault often mentions his son the values he believed his mother Catherine, what they had fought to the end and what he wanted for his son. A Bible passage in particular:

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him who is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life.
Revelation 21:6, Revelation 21:06, Bible

2277:
James escapes from the Vault 101 in search of a GECK, advanced technology for invoice Future-Tec, a division of the well-known as Vault-Tec, a form of Earth-training can bring the world back to a devastated current stage of paradise 'Eden characterized by a rich and lush vegetation, fresh fruit and so on, thus indispensable for James and the completion of the Project Purity.

The roots planted in the 'land of the arid Mojave ..
Fallout: NW.

In the Mojave Desert there are many references to James, although it is difficult to notice them immediately or ask you already have an idea carefully without clear and well defined what you want. I wanted to dig and gather information from multiple sources, but mainly based on my experience I decided to Ingame portals to 'everyone's attention in a general framework that encompasses all or most of them. I will mention a few and try to be clear:

Clue # 1: The vans with the blue box targati J4M35M:

SPOILER (click to view)

These vans are scattered everywhere in the Wasteland of the Mojave, were common before the fall of the bombs, are a model gasoline engine front, it can be seen by the presence of two gas cans placed on the sides and 2 discharges on the back. This truck is a unique model of its kind, only to be branded or unique example in which we can find something. The consistent presence of this van from the 'idea that "someone" wanted to give the impression, a careful player, that "there is something that should be noted, in this case the plate J4M35M, easily decipherable in" JAMES M ", paying attention especially to the "M" at the end because of all the elements is more important.

Clue # 2: The photo of James and Catherine in Vault 21:

Wandering all 'inside of Vault 21 I noticed a small picture of Sarah in the room (just in the main bearings to the east and follow through to the corridors), the picture hanging next to a bed, depicts two doctors / scientists a clear complexion, the 'other clearly African American .. James and Catherine?
<--- Catherine

Clue # 3: Goodsprings:
The location from which our adventure in Fallout: NW part of this picture, playing a major role.
The name literally translated means Good-springs Good sources, a clear reference to the Water of Life Project and the Purity (Fallout 3).

Clue # 4: Doc Mitchell

Even Doc Mitchell is an active part of this story, if not the tip of the 'iceberg!:

.. Here comes the fun .. Fallout: NW begins with our courier who is "almost" killed by a COPLA in the head and is saved by Victor, robot henchmen of Mr. House, to date we have .. after which we find ourselves in the home of "Doc Mitchell", apparently a doctor, "a little old man" who tells us, after the brief intro of skills, come from a Vault, the number 21 and that "He knows what it means to lose something," and ... "Have you lost something a long time ago, but does not think more time." (No further explanation is given and deepens the discussion)

The Vault 21:
House is won by playing poker against the same people many years ago, during the civilization of the tribes and the formation of what would become the Strip, residents are forced to submit to the covenant made with House, out of the vault (the is learned during one of the conversations with Mr. House).
Doc Mitchell also tells us that once taken out of the Vault as a doctor walking with great satisfaction, because it could really help people effectively, thanks to his talent (remember that is able to piece together the head of the Courier .. ).
He traveled a lot (like James), but later returned and settled in Goodsprings with his childhood sweetheart.

Here I put together all the elements that I picked up: The fact that it's called Doc Mitchell leads me to clearly link it to a doctor (it was James, as well as scientist!) And the blue plate of the truck dump "James M". ("M" final: Mitchell?). Else one of these cars in front of his house .. most other 3 in Goodsprings (TOT 4).
Doing a quick reasoning :---> J4M35M + Doc Mitchell ---> Doc James Mitchell?

Then seeing the photo in the Vault known strong resemblance to James, but especially with Catherine, clearly African American, for which it can be confirmed from other sources.

In addition, James was born in 2226.
I figured: He was born 32 years when the Solitary Wanderer (July 13, 2258).
In 2277 James is 51 and decides to escape from Vault 101 with the intention of being able to finish what was left unresolved. From there the development of the story (Fallout 3).
Confirming that the photo depicts in Vault 21, and then James and Catherine have clearly been part of the history of the Mojave Desert can be assumed that:
Doc Mitchell "He lost a long time ago" I think his son James Mitchell! Anchesso Young, gifted with medical and scientific knowledge, as we learn from Fallout 3, may have been assigned to the Medical Branch by a GOAT and have decided to just mature boy to follow his dreams and ambitions, just as it did in 2277 in Fallout 3.
He was already equipped with considerable skill as a boy probably.
In his journey, from Mojave to the Capital Wasteland has crossed the 'whole country, from one coast to' the other, covering about 2000 miles, a nice little trip.

Doc Mitchell may well be that the father of James the Solitary Wanderer's grandfather!
The links between a factor el 'are really more subtle .. As the similarity between the faces of these two characters ..

The relationship between the ages of James and Mitchell seems to fall in regular cycles that occur usually between generations:
James is 32 years old in 2258 ---> born Lone Wanderer
James has 51 years in 2277 ---> The Lone Wanderer is 19 years old
Doc Mitchell in 2258 seems to be between 45-50 years based on rough calculations.
Doc Mitchell in 2280 seems to have brought good 65-70 years.

They are "input" very thin.
It could also simply be the hand of a programmer who wanted to leave a "personal signature", is often the case in many titles of several houses, it could also be done intentionally ..
Ma .. Having in mind the minds behind this title I should not wonder about anything.
This whole thing is likely to be interpreted in different ways ..
as the connection of these facts, but there are too many "tests" or "references" as they are, what drives me in this direction. I am convinced that this is so.
I ask the community to engage the Forum while traveling in the Mojave or small riferimanti to look for clues that may be of further assistance to substantiate this very history that should it prove true, it would be of interest to many other people.

Of course I take responsibility for what is described and claimed.

(While this would make for an interesting tie in, I have to give it a rating of 1 on the Believe-a-meter, as it sound so far fetched and i have a hard time believing the clues as true. So NOPE, NOPE and NOPE!)
