So it goes without saying that survival is the new "in thing" and there seems to be some great up and coming survival games such as "The last of Us", "DayZ", "Dead State", "State of Decay" and so on... but i want one NOW!

Before i continue, i best explain my version of Survival Apocalypse. Ammo and weapons is ultra rare. Gathering food and general supplies is just as important as guns. Tottaly Free Roaming, where staying alive is the focus and although i prefer a "zombie" apocalypse... any apocalypse for now will do

I think you will get the idea of what i'm wanting... I have tried DayZ and I Am Alive. DayZ is probably the closest game that i know of.. but of course is far to "unfinished" right now

Im sure Fallout has the best game mechanic to create this world that i want and i am hoping there is some great mod or combo of mods out there that will do it.

I tried Zombie Apocalypse and wanderers edition mixed up with a few other things on the original Fallout 3 but it just wasn't what i was hoping it would be.
