I started playing Fallout NV a week ago (played Fallout 3 half a year ago for the first time), and something's bothering me.
How is the critical ratio being calculated?
For example, this is my character so far:
Level 9
Perks: Rapid Reload, Educated, Bloody Mess, Commando
Traits: Small Frame, Built to Destroy (+3% critical hit chance)
Strength: 5
Perception: 7 (8, thanks to hat)
Endurance: 5
Charisma: 1
Intelligence: 7
Agility: 7 (8, thanks to small frame)
Luck: 8
Ratslayer: 5x critical bonus / 50% condition
1st Recon beret: +5% critical hit chance
Now, how high is my critical hit chance? Could someone explain it to me?
I'm not sure, but is my guess correct?
8% (luck) * 5 (weapon multiplier) / 2 (50% condition) = 20%
20% + 3% (built to destroy) + 5% (beret) = 28%
So is my crit hit chance 28%?
Another question: Does it affect the crit hit chance...
a ) if I shoot with / without V.A.T.S.?
b ) if I am standing / crouching?
c ) if I aim the head / others?
THANKS A LOT for the help, and sorry for my terrible english. ^^
