PeteAtoms brought up the cultural and racial similarities between some of the races we can see now on Tamriel, specifically a theory that Yokuda and Akavir share some civilizations, which one traveled where is irrelevant. What I set out to do since I had the time was see how tangible the relationship between Yokuda and Akavir was since it would give us a much more detailed lens to look at Akavir from since Tamriel has less than a scholarly relationship with the natives of Akavir.

First I set out to gain a simple list of confirmed words or phrases in the native language of Yoku for Redguards and got this:

• Va = To be
  
• Hel Ansei = Sword Sainthood
  
• Tukta-mab’ro = Storyteller
  
• No Shira = Noble person
  
• Na-Totambu = Kings/rulers
  
• G’ye = Fabricator
  
• No Lo’igra = Deceiver
  
• Mluo = Cheese
  
• Koomu Alezer’i = We acknowledge, refers to a holiday
  
• Ra Gada = Warrior class
  
• Hel Anseilak = Communication with Hel Ansei, a holiday
  
• Shehai = Way of the spirit sword
  
• Ansei = Saints of the Sword
  
• Ajcea = A spiral down

Then I got a list of known words, even just names because I found so few no words that weren't names, that originated from Akavir:

• Verisdue-Shaie = Name of an Akaviri Potentate
  
• Dinieras-Ves = "Kinsman" of Verisdue-Shaie that inspired the Fighters Guild
  
• Savirien-Chorak = Another Akaviri Potentate
  
• Sylaj = Name of an Akaviri soldier from the battle at Pale Pass

With the information seen here, we can get some linguistic similarities between the two, especially things like vowel placement, but not much tangible comparison other than maybe things like similar sorts of "rhythm" in the words.

Am I missing any sources of Akaviri words? as far as I know there have been none, which is kind of disappointing.
