Background
Pugwash was a small boy, born hideous. His large nose and nostrils, and wide, pale face means his parents abandoned him at an early age. Pugwash grew up in the dank waters of a Goblin Cave, staying out of sight and bonding with a few Goblins. Then a group of Imperials smashed through the cave, and burning it down, forced Pugwash into deeper territory.
Years later, a band of adventurers found Pugwash and dragged the dirty, dishevilled young man to the Guard Captain. The Guard Captain showed no mercy and threw the poor young man away into the Prisons. And there the Adventure began.

I'm pretty sure every character is ugly. The Champion of Cyrodil is like the hunchback of notre dame.. heroic, but not pleasant to look at.

But I agree with you - there are some stunning characters in Oblivion. Cutter, anyone?

Renee Gade 2 made a great thread a couple of years ago entitled http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1117278-am-i-hot-or-not/ that proves there are many attractive vanilla characters to be found in the world of Cyrodiil. So there.
