Removing The Bitter Coast Cantina

I'm using the CM Partners 3.0, but I want to remove the Bitter Coast Cantina in order to preserve the original Morrowind landscape. I don't know anything about the Construction Set, but I have used TES Advanced Mod Editor before.

When I load up the plugin in TESAME, I can find the cell which contains the Cantina. Right underneath that cell is the sole landscape reference within the plugin, which I believe is attached to the Cantina cell. Unfortunately, none of the cells are named, but it looks like this:

Cell <- Bitter Coast Region Guar Companion ( I guess? )
Cell <- West Gash Region Bandits
Cell <- Bitter Coast Region Bandits
Cell <- Contains references to the Bitter Coast Cantina
Landscape <- Has a bunch of weird text I can't decipher
Cell <- Ashlands Region Bandits
Cell <- Ashlands Region Bandits
Cell <- Hla Oad Companions

So I think what I have to do is delete the Cantina cell, and the Landscape reference underneath it. This return that cell to the Morrowind default without damaging my game. I am going to start a new game anyway, so I'm not worried about updating masters.

My question is whether or not I have the right idea. Am I doing this right, or will I damage the plugin? Will I encounter errors down the road?

In closing, I would like to say that I think CM Partners 3.0 is a wonderful mod, and I have no intention of releasing an edited version of the plugin. I do not intend to offend Blackie or those who took part in creating the Cantina. I just want to personalize my experience.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Topic.

The best advice I can offer is to make a backup copy of the mod and try it. If it messes up something, just put the original back and take out the edited version. It would be best if you kept the date on the files the same as it is right now, so your load order doesn't change, which can cause issues like doubling.

The simplest way to maintain the load order and date is to use a little program that will allow you to change the modified date of the file; however, if you are using Vista or windows 7 these utilities may not work. I recommend using WryeMash to maintain your load order.

But as I said, as long as you make a backup of the mod and a backup of the savegame in question, no matter what happens, you can always restore your game.
