What would you make your group like?

If you could create any group of adventures like yourself and build them up to a faction status what would they be like and how would you do it?

probably an old ghoul gun fighter, depressed ncr sniper, insane nightkin, felicia day with a power fist, a drunk cow girl, an enclave doctor, a robot dog, an eyebot, and a legion philosopher.

Although i'd probably only travel with two at a time so the game doesn't seem trivial

King of ya, if you could become a group and start creating a small fraction, how would you do it and what would they be like?

I don't understand this thread.
How would I do it? Create a faction?
I have a faction in mind for Fallout but "me" creating it? It doesn't work that way.
I don't see how I would be able to create a faction in the first place.
Just go into a bar and ask people "hey, let's start and industrial city which is run on slave labour!"
I doubt that's gonna be successful.

I just don't understand what you mean by "creating" a faction of your own.
Maybe it'd help if you explain in great detail how to "make my own group".
Cause all I can think of is a mercenary group. And that isn't exactly a faction, it's just a small group doing odd jobs for cash.

So instead, I'm going to post a small pitch of a faction I had in mind.
The Bear Hunters.
They are a tribal society who are led by a Lacerta (a type of mutant) who's culture revolves around hunter/gatherer and exploring their own primal nature.
Their society is more like a raider hub if anything, they have their own culture which takes complete priority but they allow any outlaws to rest, sell and operate in their area.
Because of this they are seen as a blight on the map and most people hate them.
And it doesn't exactly help that they target humans when they hunt as they are considered to be the apex predator if it's a large caravan.
The reason they haven't been taken care of by anyone is because their lands is completely covered in bear traps.
Hence the name, Bear Hunters.

I would create a female run vault that embraces Cannibalism.

Savages who roam the land, destroying everything in their path that doesn't agree with them, they feast on the flesh of the living. Slaughter the men and hang their bodies.

The recruits could use any weapon he/she got their hands on. The more professional and organized leaders would keep their standard weapons and armor.

These are the types of troops I'd have.

- Recruits blood thirsty warriors who would do anything to prove themselves. (Usually medium but also can be light)

- The scorchers (Pyro's) Who would crisp anything that came close enough. (equipped with fire based weapons) (Heavy armor)

- Snipers very organised. Go in sets of two like the standard snipers. (These are the more civil men in the army)

- Heavy troopers Used whatever weapon they deemed fit, always heavy armor.

- Maniacs explosive wielding maniacs.

-Commanders The leaders, the strongest men in the army.
