In the Eyes of the Lost is a fan series to be shown on youtube made entirely in UDK. Everything is to be made from scratch and will take place during the bombs that fell in 2077. This series has been planned out and almost 100% fully scene by scene written. The script is underway and in very early stages. The scene by scene overview shows what will happen and when it will happen so we have a guideline for the script. Here is a short overview of the story:

"The Great Bombs fall in October 2077 and a group of survivors travel from their crashed plane in Canada back to their home in Portland, America. They will find other surivors and deal with the truth of what has happened and how they slowly loose hope of finding their loved ones."

This is a serious machinima and will have drama, action and great characters with a backstory and a unique story ark. This series only currently has 3 people working on it's production so we need a lot of asistance. We need programmers, writers and voice actors.

Programmers

You don't need to have experience in UDK or any other program. We want to give people the oppurtunity to learn while creating. We want to give people who may have never had the oppurtunity to program before to do so. Moddlers, texture artists and scripters are all needed. And of course, it goes without saying that you will need a decent PC.

Writers

Want to write a series with fallout lore. We want this series to be as accurate to the lore as possible. Research has been done and you will write the scenes and help with the script. You don't need to have experience but a bit of determination would be nice.

Voice Actors
You will basically play the characters. Requirements are:
  • Have a good microphone (no background noise or popping)
  • Audacity (free to download audio program)
  • Mumble (free to download and will be using to talk to other actors in scenes/ Not using skype as it cuts out on long distance calls)
You don't need to be an amazing actor but the willingness to become a better actor is appreicated.

Oh I remember watching "The Waking" and I'm actually subscribing to your youtube channel. I love the idea to make a movie about the time when the bombs fell. I've always wondered about that time period. What would it be like? How much time did the people have to find shelter?

We actually had to get a few expert opinions to get a real life estimate. One of the people we work with knows a scientists and he esitmates around 7 days of exposure to raditation will result in odd mutations. So we went with that.

Oh I thought that in real life, a long exposure to radiation would result in death... not mutation? ;)

Have you ever played the Honest Hearts DLC? My favorite part are the journal entries of a man who survived the start of the Great War in Zion National Park. Maybe you could build onto that story.
