so i was playing oblivion, and i got to be a vampire, which is cool. i browsed the forums a bit, and many users say that vampires infiltrated politics? is there any information on this? how high of a rank could they infiltrate? the high council?

Janus Hassildor, count of Skingrad is a vampire. So is Sybille Stentor, the court wizard of Solitude.

I did. It all depends on whether you think the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tsaesci_(race) were vampiric snake-folk, as some lore describes them as. The literalness of that description can be debated elsewhere though. I'm just spit-ballin' here

EDIT: Whether vampires have infiltrated politics or not, I don't think there is anything definitive. But I have to wonder, why not? There isn't anything really preventing vampires from hiding their true selves.

"Infiltrate" is a pretty loaded term to use as well, lol.
