Okay, loooong term vanilla FO3 player here, also long term Skyrim player.

My F3 experience was huge fun, thoroughly loved it, 1600 hours on one character...

Now, I'm about to mod up, as I had never used mods before playing skyrim (100 mods give or take a few in it).

So, I'm about to mod FO3 and head back in...what I seek is your, my fellow gamers, advice...


I am after:

Real life mods (i.e., those that require you to actually do something to live - camping mods, food mods, etc. The 'hardcoe' gameplay mods, if you prefer to look at it that way)

Practical weapon mods - not fantasy or OP stuff, but realistic firearm and weapon mods.

Environmental mods - what makes it 'real'.

Immersive, or ambience mods - housing, etc etc.


I know, I'm asking a lot. But the bottom line is that I'm looking at coming back into the wasteland, and I'd prefer to ask my peers for advice..anyone playing F3 now has to be dedicated, right?
