If you could write the intro for the next TES game...

Hello,

If you could write the opening of the next TES game - what would you do?

I thought it would be interesting to create a thread in which people leave their ideas (be it a script, description, or simple idea) for the first quest at the beginning of the next game - maybe Bethesda will read it and implement one lol. You can set it in any province - try to be detailed, but without a wall of text approach. I'll try an example, please try not to mock too much (as a general rule - don't bash other people's content).

While I don't see Bethesda doing it, something vaguely similar to the Origin Stories of DA:O would work rather well, but rather than fixed on Race and Class it would be past occupations, previous affiliations, etc.

this is me going off the cuff, later I'll go in depth on this.

Hmm.

Province: Elsweyr.
Location: Marauder hideout, in the desert.
Setting: Prisoner there (naturally!), in a rusty cell chained to the wall.
Escaping: Another prisoner, a Khajiit smuggler, manages to unlock his chains and helps you up. He lets you go free, if you help him escape the place. He needs you to get the Marauders attention while he slips away. Then, you're on your own. However, you have many options:
-Kill him on the spot with your chain and loot him.
-Refuse to help, he won't unlock you.
-Cause the distraction.
-Don't cause the distraction.

Either way, the Marauder hideout is attacked by a group. (guards? mages? fighters guild? main quest-blades? idk). If you were still chained in your cell, the attackers will rescue you.


Something like that.
