So, in the canon does the main character do everything?

I was looking through this http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Third_Era#Fifth_Century, and every one of the quest lines seem canon. Does that mean that the Champion of Cyrodil actually Killed Mannimarco and became the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, or is it up to debate whether it's several people?
