Vault to remain sealed for 100 years

Once the Vault is sealed, the male residents will be deliberately misled into believing no women are in the Vault. Since the Vault will be fully equipped for the entire population of 1500, plus projected growth, the male residents will be told the Vault was being sealed early due to a imminent Chinese strike and the other 1000 residents were being abandoned to save those there already. No Overseer will be assigned initially, and a Armory will be present but left empty. Entertainment provided will consist (for the first 5 years) of books, music and various forms of gay porm. Chemicals designed to increase male libido will be pumped into the ventilation system in the male section at random intervals.

During this entire time, the females are in a section of the Vault sealed off from the section the males are in. They will have supplies to last 5 1/2 years, as well as the real Vault Armory. At 5 years, the Vault mainframe will give the female section the ability to open the door to the male section as well as remote access to all Vault systems. The female section will have the Vault Overseer and a security detail twice the normal size who will be ordered to seize control of the Vault once able to do so. Once in power the new Overseer will carry out instructions to impose a "zero-tolerance" policy regarding homosixual relationships and behavior among the male population and enforce it with escalating severity.

Purpose: to evaluate the feasibility of simplifying life-support requirements of long-duration colonization spaceflight by encouraging same-six relations amongst the flight/caretaker crews and thier re-integration into normal society once the destination is reached.

Population: 1001 residents with 500 extremely patriotic american citizens, 500 asian americans of chinese descent who are supportive of China's invasion of Alaska, and one politically neutral Overseer.

Experiment: To see how isolation will affect political and racial views and tensions. The seperate groups will be divides by seperated quarters. The vault will also have an slightly overstocked armory.

Vault 989-

Was like Vault 19,split into two parts.But this was worse,there was a large,abandoned section inbetween each section,each group had a armory full of weapons.They soon started to invade each other.Soon the vault when into chaos,every vault dweller turned against their friends and family alike.Soon,a bomb set inside the reactor was found,and couldnt be defused,the bomb when off,setting the vault into a fiery den of evil,all the souls killed there where forever enshrined behind a large,revolving door with the number 989 on it.

Vault (who cares about the number)

a very nice luxurious vault. full with married women. every girl is has the same story. their husband told them to go in this vault. they would be safe and they would meet again very soon.
but whenn the vault closes all hell breaks loose. power goes down, radiation, food supplies go out, awful sound and smell and even rats suddenly appear.
then everyone gets a message from their husbands. recorded from before the vault closed. telling them that they are dumped and that they would go to a vault filled with younger girls and lots of booze.
they are tolded they were awful wifes and this is what they deserve.
offcoarse the husbands were told that there was only a few spots left in vaults and those were given to women only. so the only way they could save their wifes was to sacrifice themself and tell the wifes to go down into the vault were they would be safe. they had to record a message saying: that the wife is not dumped but they could not enter the vault. that they payed lot of money so younger girls would not be selected. that the wifes should not use booze to forget them and that knew that that was what their wifes deserved. but offcoarse those messages were edited.
after the women hear their husbands message that they have been dumped for a better place and they deserve this hell, they all commit suicide in their own room.
accept one. who just stares at the message. turns slowly into a ghoul. and after hundreds of years finaly gets shot by a vault dweller who just freaked out because there was a life one in the deadhole.

the weird al vault would need to hav the number 27 in it. 27 is like an easter egg in some of his songs

Populate the vault with infants taken away from their parents at birth (or cloned instead of born) and have them nursed by silent robots. Have the robots turn themselves of as the children grow and depend less and less on them. Observe if the inhabitants develop a speach and/or written language as they grow up.
Will they band together, will they become tribal? Laking any kind of education or example, will their instincts suffice to teach them how to care for their offspring?

Vault # (who cares)

A very small but complete vault with 500 men and 500 women, there is no overseer. It is built in the rocky mountains but the living section starts at sea level and the food supply is near limitless. It has an unfinished section where all the machinery used to build the vault is left along with many manuals on metalergy, archectature and spare parts, not to mention an industrial sized machine shop with a furnace able to make steel and other alloys from raw ore. There are no robots and everyone placed in the vault is under 30 but has a broad range of education, real world experience and moral values. The unfinished section is locked for 10 years but the machine shop is not, there is a window that the vault dwellers can see in thru and theere is a yellow reflection at the end of an unfinished tunnel. Do they expand the vault or go gold digging?

A normal vault filled with paranoid people who Vault-tec tell they are going to perform social experiments on.
But Vault-tec aren't actually doing anything but are just observing the paranoid inhabitants who are expecting something to happen.
