Vivec? god? CHIM? jerk? what?

So did Vivec achieve CHIM? If he did, the Neravarine's work did not affect him correct?

So if Vivec was actually a legit god, why did he let the Ministry of Truth fall?

Edit: Also.. where did he go then? Would the Daedra actually be able to capture him? Am I stupid? Ahhh

Vivec? Yes. God? Maybe, depending on your own definition of what a god is. CHIM? I don't know enough about it to say, but best guess is yes.

Jerk? He murdered his best friend, which didn't stop him from sleeping with said best friend's widow, so... He's clearly a righteous, stand-up individual, and exactly the kind of role model that one should aspire to worship.

Then again, that bit about Almalexia proves that he isn't just blowing steam when he talks about love.

Hmm. I never actually knew about him sleeping around with Almalexia, although that comes as no shock.

So if he did achieve it, where did he go and why did he let his city and people get decimated when he could have stopped it?

He let it happen because it had to. Dunmer society had become stagnant and decadent; they had forgotten love. Through adversity, they will find strength, and new purpose.

Almalexia was Vivec's consort after their divine ascension.
Although, I'm half certain that all three probably slept with Nerevar and/or each other, when he was alive.

Well, it means that love has several different meanings and is used to refer to anything from egomania through lust to even legitimate affection and respect.

Vehk uses it to describe the way everyone should totally worship him, or else they'll all die a really painful death.
