I bought crysis today from a local retailer and while installing i added it to my origin account. After the install finished i proceeded to launch it from origin and was met with a dialogue box requesting i enter my activation code. After obliging i am told my serial is invalid. I cannot get onto the EA help website as everytime i try log in it tells me the service is temporarily unavailable which is nothing new as i and many i know are faced with this same problem. So my question is can anyone here help me?

You should turn to EA support, try logging in with your origin account to it. If you manage to log in, then you should be on your way to get your serial fixed or recieve a new one.

Mate thanks for the advice but i already stated that i cant and never have been able too and i'm in Australia. Also a few friends could not as well.

Yeah I know, but there's no other way of getting your serial fixed or get a new one. Maybe try to return the game to the shop and take picture with yourself, that the serial code is invalid, but I presume that it's not their responsibility to exchange the product to another one.

would you class it as invalid considering the fact that i entered it into origin and it has accepted it as Crysis 2 without it even being installed?
if it was invalid it would not show up in origin thats how ridiculous this is
