**** DRM

Installed Windows 8, re-downloaded Crysis 2 through Steam, and when I attempted to play I was told that I've exceeded my activations. EA's support is and has been down for days now.

EA, you're making a really good case for pirating future releases.

Wait for EA support to come back online, and they will give you more activations

Hmm, I'm not sure, but the support works just fine for me. Maybe the scheduled maintenance is earlier than for us. You can only wait, but I think it worths the time. Good luck on it.

I don't know why EA support wasn't working for me, but I finally got through last night and got the issue resolved. I'm happy to pay for games, BTW, and I want to support developers but this kind of **** DRM has got to go. Just do what Steam does for most other games and only let me play it on one system at a time even if it's installed on many. This activation count stuff is utter garbage.
