TES VI with co-op feature and more depth

I love role playing games like The Elder Scrolls.
I loved the Fable series but the developers didn't give the series the respect it deserves so it went horrible.
I don't enjoy playing role playing game that is a MMO game. Just so you know.

So after that is said, there are only two things that I really want in TES VI and that is:

Co-op

2 or 4 players max.

You should be able to do everything you could do from before, there should not be anything lost because of the co-op feature.

If you look at Fable 3 that is a different game but you was still able to move around in the same world together.

If player 1 decided to leave the area, player 2 would get a message that 'do you want to leave the area' yes or no.

So if player 1 decided to sleep, the player 2 would also have to sleep.

Key here is that the game should not suffer for having co-op feature but there need to be 2 players who understand they need to

enjoy this game together but on the cost that they need to work together when it comes to going places and doing things.

Some balance that is required of the player to agree with, so the game doesn't pay the price as cutting out features that you already

loved in the previous The Elder Scrolls games. Right?

I believe you could do something like that with TES VI with 2 players where you work together with quests and explore dungeons, etc.

&

More Depth

More depth with the social role playing life within game. We have seen they move in this direction with adoption, having a wife, so on.

Just give it more depth, more choices on how you want to live your social role playing life in TES VI.

Perhaps give the players option to grow a farm, water it, so on. Just one example on giving more variety and depth in the social aspects.

  • What ideas can you come up with on how they could make co-op feature work in TES VI without hurting the choices we already have in the game!?

  • What ideas can you come up with on how to give TES VI more depth in the everyday life of a role player?

I know this is a very bland response and doesn't much further the thread, but I honestly think TES is absolutely brilliant BECAUSE it's a single player game. It makes the absolute best experience it can for an INDIVIDUAL, and thus is not required to make sacrifices to add in a social aspect. While it is unfortunate that you don't enjoy any MMO's you may still want to try TESO just to see what you think. Yes, it's not a console experience and it isn't close at all to what you're asking but it's probably the best you'll get. As far as your ideas for more depth, I think the same can be said of just about any aspect of TES. I would like to see more traditional lore influences and depth to the stories told in game, Morrowind being a prime example. It was much easier to do in Morrowind however, as dialogue was text based and we may simply be constrained by technology at this point rather that the studios' intent. Having as much dialogue as Morrowind had in game recorded with voice actors would be a huge undertaking and one that simply demands too many resources on the current console gen. I def agree it's not TES if I can't roleplay. There has to be a reason, story, and overall character style behind every action I take and character I make in those games. It's just part of how I enjoy it. I have many friends who blaze their way through and make universal characters rather than specialized ones and they have just as much fun. That's great in my opinion, as it shows the game is fun from many angles for many players. Old lore junkies and Morrowind worshippers like myself still miss that little feeling that you can't quite put your finger on though lol. Maybe next console gen we'll get to see all of that come back with newer technology and all......wow....I really rambled on that one. Apologies

Another multiplayer thread? Is it that time of the month already?

I'm fundamentally opposed to multiplayer in TES, for all the same reasons that usually get brought up. Since it serves no real purpose here I won't go into them and will instead move onto question 2.

As for more depth, I'd prefer to see that focused toward character development, interactions in and between factions, and better questlines and plots, than by having the option to have my character become a farmer. All that "social role playing" stuff you mentioned doesn't appeal to me, and I don't think it adds much to the game.

I'm going to just be that guy and say I would like it, but only if it's done right.
Attacking a bandit stronghold with friends sounds so fun, however considering we're getting TESO, I don't think this feature is needed.
