I'm lit up like a torch and I never go out! : III

I have no idea what the problem is, wherever I go I have the torch effect. When I'm outside and approach NPC's they light up as though I have a torch and I can hear the crackling sound like I have a torch equipped but I don't have a torch equipped. I have dumped all my possessions into a crate and walk around naked and still the stupid torch effect. I can't think of anything that causes this so I'm hoping someone has an idea to what the problem may be.

Nothing on your mod list leaps out at me...

You could try opening up a save game in Enchanted Editor and looking at the "player" NPC record: that's your character, maybe there's something in the inventory that leaps out at you. Alternatively, there's a http://www.mwmythicmods.com/argent/tech/bin_srch.html. Unless someone else knows something...

Ha ha, I actually went and tried that though it didn't work.

Luckily I didn't have to do that. I have never used the Enchanted Editor but know that I know it may very well come in handy down the road.

I thought that it was like having Trueflame equipped and that's exactly what the deal is. I went back and picked up Trueflame and as long as I have it in my inventory and not equipped I have no problems. I guess we are now linked. Don't know why that is but I can at least now wander around in peace!
