"You have reached the limit of morrowind save games...&#

I wasn't sure where to post this... maybe it belongs in "hardware/software issues", so I flipped a coin and this forum lost...

Ok, my issue is more of an annoyance than anything... While in game, when I ESC to the main menu then choose "Save", the Save menu pops up but a message also appears that says:
"You have reached the limit of Morrowind save games. Delete a save game and try again."
I'm still able to save the game without having to delete one.

I only have 156 saves (I usually clean the Save folder out at 200). I've had over 400 saves before, and have never seen this message.

Anyone know how to kill this message?

I know the Code Patch has a warning message if you have too many Save files... but I thought it still let you create more.
It does this because having too many Save files causes major problems with the game.

Not sure why anyone needs 200 :P But you can always move some of them to a folder on your desktop or something, if you don't want to delete them yet.

Thank you. That is probably the problem then.
I installed MCP a couple days ago, between my last game and this one I'm playing now.

Yeah, I wait till I have around 200 saves because I'm lazy.
The reason I rack up so many saves in a game is because of the occasional CTD, so I save just about every time I go thru a door....

I'll start cleaning the save folder out at 25-30 saves.

Thanks again Pluto!
