What about The Elder Scrolls Online?

At first I was not convinced at all. Jeez, another mmo!
I've already played
- World of Warcraft. Wonderful game but full of elitist and arrogant hardcoe gamers
- Aion. Nice mmo, but a real Korean grind nightmare. And a ganking nightmare too, surely.
- SWToR. Nice try, great fail. Imo it lacked the sense of a whole world. Too many small maps, the char too much dependent from the follower.
- Tera. True action combat is a great idea, but I grew bored of the quests and the world has some ridiculous characters and enemies.

Now, when I read about an Elder Scrolls mmo, I was sure I wouldn't have given it even a try, but I'm following with a certain curiosity the official site and now I'm almost sure I will try that game too.
The areas look cool, and the possibility to visit the Skyrim province from a whole new point of view is really enticing, but I have some doubts on the toons, in fact they seem to me a little too much low polygon models.
On the pure gameplay side, after playing Tera with its true action combat, returning to the select-enemy-and-cast-rotation-of-skills, looks to me a little rusty, outdated.
What are your very first impressions and opinions about this work in progress mmo?
