Okay, so origin I guess isn't so bad..

I used to hate origin before, though it's pretty easy and simple to use once you get the hang of it.. Still.. Steam<3
Can't wait to try out the alpha soon. :) See you folks who got it there...
What's your better to use thing? Steam or origin?

Origin is just an online shop with a friends list... I never hated it and they have some good deals on for today which is Halloween ;)

I never got the Origin hate. Some things it does much better than Steam (offline mode).

Origin is still better than Steam IMHO, steam wont even let you play you games after being forced into offline mode, origin, couldn't really care less, which is a plus in my book.

I found a way for that offline mode.. If your luckily online, then your internet dies cause you no pay.. Go to offline mode WHEN you're logged on. :) Worked for me. :D

Downloaded ORIGIN today. Started installation... when installation progress was at the end, the installer started to restart my computer. Like seriously? Without any warning? If I had any work unsaved I would lost it. But that's not all. My Windows were not able to boot again. I couldn't even get into bios. After like half-an hour of trying... I disconnected SSD on which ORIGIN was installed - computer booted correctly. Seriously EA? What is this malware doing? Then I was able to boot even with connected disk. Why does it even require restart at the first place?

I don't have any problems with Origin, no reason why people should have either.

Yeah especially when I have sub par hardware. I doubt it's Origins problem.

It didn't matter if Steam is better than Orgin or Orgin is better than Steam, but they're doing good job and make good deal on most of game. Mainly i buying game from amazon.com to install via steam or orgin. Don't use Amazon downloader unless it is not steam or orgin version.

Wow. Dejavu I had that problem when I first time installed origin, I ACTUALLY had a virus.. I wasn't the admin on my admin account so I had to go to the cmd and enable the main admin account, I couldn't do it through control panel cause it denied me saying it needs an admin rights lol. xD Anyway, after that 2 times of re-installing it started giving no probs.. Yes, this happened as soon as I tried installing origin, I don't know why.. It was on EA's website.. :P

Origin has superior servers. I downloaded BF3 in 3 mins at 80-90 MB/s.

On steam I PEAK at 15-20 MB/s

Pfff, who cares about servers. Steam has lots of indie titles! And trading! And other stuff!
But seriously, Steam is better. GabeN knows what he's doing.
