Hello. I purchased New Vegas on Day One and purchased all of the DLC on the day they each came out, and for the first year or so it was fine. But early last year, while I was in the Big MT in Old World Blues, I opened the game, loaded my save, and the message for corrupt DLC appeared. Sure enough, when I opened the latest save file, I found myself in Goodsprings with any items relating to any of the DLC gone from my inventory and any quests and challenges related to the DLC gone from their respective sections. I looked around for an answer but I couldn't find one on the forums at the time, so I went to Microsoft. Their support team told me to delete my game cache. Now that was going on about eighty hours at the time but I didn't really mind since I enjoyed the game so much. So I deleted the game cache and started from scratch. Until recently I had been going through the original game before moving on to DLC. When I did, I started with Honest Hearts. At first things were fine, but after about a week the same problem occurred and I found myself in Goodsprings again when I loaded up the game. I contacted Microsoft again and they told me to do the same thing. Now while I enjoy playing the game immensely I would really like to play the thirty dollars worth of DLC that I have been unable to finish because of this problem. Is there any way around this, or any specific reason why my DLC might still be corrupting?
TL;DR - My DLC has corrupted twice now and while I deleted my game cache the first time I'm hesitant to do it again because of how far I've gotten. Is there something I can do or does anyone have any idea why my DLC would keep becoming corrupted?
