How can we improve magic in future Elder scrolls games?

Magic is going the wrong way in my opinion. The first elder scrolls game i tried was morrowind and I loved the freedom in that magic system.

But then Oblivion came and that was fine too except maybe alittle scaled down in the magic department and less options.

Now we are at Skyrim and magic has just become very boring with little or no options.

You might say (" gee but there is mods!? "). You would be right but mods only get you so far when the core system is the problem.

How do we convince bethesda that they need to think outside the box, instead of makin the box smaller with every game.

Bring back spell making, but make it more balanced.
