(note: PS3 with no dlc's)
Basically, after I beat AC3 (which will be in a couple of days, no doubt), I'll start a new character in Fallout New Vegas. I aim for a playthrough that'll have weak enemies, meaning a bullet to the head surely should kill pretty much any enemy I encoutner. But, at the same time, I don't want my character to be a demi-god slaughtering flies. Here's a couple of things I'll follow:
First of all, just two weapons. One bigger weapons and one side-arm. Plus a melee knife.
- The weapons I'll use are: Hunting rifle, 9mm pistol, chance's knife.
- I'll only carry 15 rifle ammo at any given time, and 40 pistol ammo. Any more that I find, I'll simply let stay unpicked.
- My special's will look like this:
S - 1
P - 6
E - 1
C - 10
I - 6
A - 6
L - 10
Strength 1 for two reasons: First, it'll make me able to carry less. Second, it'll make all my weapons less accurate.
Endurance 1 to make my character as weak as possible, to make enemies hits be a bigger threat.
Charisma 10: Just to sink some SPECIAL points into something that won't help me much at all. (no followers allowed, so the nerve boost doesn't help at all.
Skills I'll be using mainly are: Guns, repair and survival.
I'm also thinking about limiting the amount of stimpaks I'm allowed to use to 0, and also use the small frames trait to have weaker limbs. Furthermore, I may end up carrying around 30 ibs worth of books all the time, to further make me able to carry less.
Further suggestions? Am I making the character too weak, considering the limited amnount of ammo? Am I crazy? Has anyone tried something like this before, and how did it work?
