Daedra quests

For me it's not just the quest, but the Daedric Prince as well since they don't hold to the same "good/evil" concepts as mortals do, and there's a lot that's open to interpretation. Like, I don't usually have as many problems with Meridia's quest as I do the Aurorans from her realm. Malacath's like that for me too, even for my Orsimer characters, as well as Hircine after being in Solstheim.

Some are no-brainers though, like Molag Bal and any others who revel in destruction and making life miserable.

How do you do the first thing haha I wouldn't mind that. Free her from the curse of the gods.

Very carefully and with much preparation. ;)
Basically you reduce the sword to 0 durability, using the 'disintegrate weapon' effect. Umbra then sticks the broken weapon in her inventory (I've never had her drop it in my games), and she switches to h2h. Then you pickpocket the sword from her inventory. The tricky part is not getting killed, but creative use of magic and stealth can really help there. I find it so much more fun, rewarding and challenging than simply killing her.

Shouldn't it also be theoretically possible to disarm her by doing a spinning sideway attack? Would be pretty funny to do imo.

Never tried that. I did discover something interesting though:

If you damage her strength to 0, it will not stop her at all. It might reduce the melee damage she does some, but it will not stop her from moving. This stumped me until I realized that she has 0 encumberance. :P
- She is a master of heavy armor
- Her weapon weighs 0
- She has nothing in her inventory

Oooo I might try that since my character has heard whispers of the power of the sword Umbra, but has no desire to talk to half of the Daedra out there and also doesn't relish killing in cold blood without being paid for it.

Hermaeus Mora is the most interesting one. He sort of shows us the darker side of pure academics; total disregard for means, towards ends that may be too abstract and unrewarding for anyone else to appreciate. If Cyrodill were set to 100% full-scale, you could imagine him asking the player to capture a hundred or even a thousand people's souls, simply so that his cult could obtain an answer which the daedra himself already knows. A sort of useless operation, but an act of worship for Hermaeus Mora. His quest would be repulsive to a paladin, of course, or even a rogue / thieves guild member. They have a protective, rebellious streak. However, a mage, historian, pilgrim or academician of any kind might consider it worthwhile. And mercenaries would love it for the pay-off, in any case.
