Ok, i just got skyrim like 1 month ago. I already done every quest so i thought i'd move on to oblivion.

Now, here are my questions:

1) I'm trying to harvest butterflies like i can in skyrim but it wont let me.

2) How do i attack from my horse like i can in skyrim. I just cant seem to figure it out.

3)Where do i go to start a family. I want to get married and adopt some kids.

4)Where is the alchemy table at?

5)where do i select my perks after i level up, the menus are so confussing?

6)How do i sheath my bow and arrow if i don't want to make a shot after all?

7)Where are thee places for transportation, like horse carriages or boats. I don't fast travel but that my only way i travel long distances on the map?

8) How come i can't mix and match things to make potions to learn the properties for my mixers?

I have some more questions but i don't want to overwhelm any one so i'll start with these, thx in advance

1 – 3 you can't
4. no alchemy table. You do it directly using the instruments (mortar/pestle etc.). Just click on them in your inventory, it opens the alchemy menu. Test. Eat.
5. no perks.
6. I can't remember.
7. there aren't.
8. explained in 4. Unlocking effects depends on your alchemy level.

I hope this helps!

ah, i guess i was being a bit too serious. I have played both games since day one. I did however just bought oblivion again 2 days ago cause i haven't played it for a year and it was one of those games i dumped 1000s hours in. When i was playing Oblivion it got me thinking how far the series has come in terms of graphics, features and gameplay. Then i just got the silly idea to create this thread to see if people would know i was leading them on lol.

I will say, i made a new character as a nord to see if it would feel like i'm a long way from home and it does lol. What i'm going to do is figure out exactly the type of character i want and turn him into a vampire so he'll live forever. Then, his story will continue 200 years later when he's making his way back to skyrim and gets caught in that imperial ambush, then he'll go straight for dawn guard after level 10.

However, for now i have a strong connection with my new Nord character cause it feels like i'm in a distant land and i have memories of solitude, wind helm and markharth. Thus, i'll be dropping in from time to time between here and skyrims forum. I envy you guys now cause you don't have to deal with all the hate like the new kid on the block does. Now its all about mature dialogue. So, thanks for the kind gesture of wanting to help an absolutely clueless individual, says a lot about you. If it were me, i'd probably called him an idiot lol.
