I've prefered the Brotherhood of Steel ever since the original fallout series (Especially Fallout Tactics) :fallout:

I also always liked the look and stats of the Lyon's Pride Armor from Fallout 3!

BoS. Primarily because they're not as genocidal as the Enclave.

As for my favorite PA? The Medic Power Armor MP-47/A.

The FO1 Bos were pretty helpful,
but the Enclave are just too xenophobic to be liked by an outsider.

Enclave they would of won in Fallout 2 but that would mean the series would end. The Brother Hood is my second favorite faction.

Neither.

One is set back with an idea of exterminating all that is "inferior" to them.

The other is a techno hoarding terrorist group.

I like both fractions ,but they both have their flaws.
  • Brotherhood: Good at heart but not willing to cross the line to finish the job.
  • Enclave: Bad at heart but willing to cross the line to do what they want.
(my thoughts of course)

Actually, to be fair to the Enclave, they're also good at heart. So were the leaders of the Spanish Inqusition. Their issue is that they just don't understand how far off the beaten trail they have gone. I'd back the Enclave if they just weren't so damn xenophobic/anti-mutant.

I'm hoping for a sort of 'new' enclave to appear in later games.....the remnants of the former enclave that have stopped killing everyone and started building a real society with their technology... perhaps by using a GECK.

Look at Colonel Autumn in Fallout 3, he noticed that wiping everyone out was pointless, a better solution was to build a place where people wanted to live, and then the enclave could bring back the government to rule over the wasteland. I hope to see an enclave like that in future games, where they are more then just 'bad guys'.

Because if there's anything likely to cause of a complete reversal in the operating style of a xenophobic, indoctrinated, supremacist faction it's been almost wiped out by the very people that they already hated with genocidal passion and chased from their home of 30 years (Raven Rock) into the wild. For the Enclave to be different merely for it's own sake I think would be a big mistake and I'd sooner see them die before that. Colonel Autumn was an outlier and a derranged personality who lacked the proper conviction most people attribute too him, at the Purifier he pledges his support to President Eden, the very "chain-of-command" (those words) he broke, and also expresses denial and incredulity that Eden would ever betray him after he himself had just betrayed Eden.

Just let the Enclave fade away before they get soiled on anymore by Bethesda and let the BoS plague, their innumerable continental chapters and seemingly limitless manpower (despite a smaller source than a Vault) continue forward.

There too awesome to just let them go, I'm guessing since they got nearly destroyed ( I hope not completely destroyed I remember hearing something about Enclave might be in Chicago possibly there last place left in America ) they should be changing so they can survive and hopefully now recruiting outsiders

Nothing is too awesome to let go, or rather, being awesome doesn't mean they can't be killed. Things have to move forward, you can't just keep wheeling the old favourites out and run them into the ground, best to go out on a high note (or a [censored] note in Fallout 3 before it gets worse) than that surely. And changes to everything about the faction purely for it's own sake is equally bad.

The Enclave aren't about to just open up their doors and become "goodies" or what-ever; nothing that's happened to them could ever lead them to down that path save for the passage of several generations. The wastelanders killed everyone they knew, you think that there were only soldiers in Raven Rock (because that's all Bethesda pandering wanted you too see). You think seeing everything you've known and loved destroyed by the people whom you've always hated is the way to tolerance and peace?

It's kinda hard for me, BoS is projected as the Good side and Enclave as Bad but they both have their pros and cons, good and bad, but I'll choose BoS since im sure id get backstabbbed or used for some [censored] experiment for the Enclave.

The only BoS I like anymore is the Midwestern Brotherhood. I liked the Enclave in Fallout 2.

That said I like the Advanced Power Armour and MKII suits and the T-51B and that's pretty much it.

I hate any faction thay is "Good" that just bores me and I don't like that so I would end up hating the Enclave. I wanted them to become like neutral but still there didn't want them in the next Fallout but maybe in the future as something new or a DLC

I guess the BoS, mainly the MWBoS, but in my book, they win by default considering that they're believable to an extent, The Enclave, not so much.

The thing I dislike about developers is that if they put an evil faction in (putting in an evil faction at all deserves critism) they end up giving them 'cool looking armor', causing many players to just ingore how stupid evil they are, and end up loving them because 'They look so KEWL!'.

I guarentee you, that if the Enclave wore football padding and skirts like the Legion, everyone would hate them, and if the Legion in NV had Power Armor everyone would look past their flaws and join them, if Fallout 4 has multiple ambiguous factions that you can help, they better not give any of them kewl armor, and if they do they better give kewl armor to all the factions.

Bull [censored] I love the Legion even if there armour isn't the best I agree with nearly everything that Caesor says

Plus when I hear there Legate saying things like "We shall see how brave you are when nailed to the walls of Hoover Dam, your body facing west so you may watch your world die."
and the thing he says to you about the NCR finding our teeth at there throats at the battle of Hoover Dam? If someone is going to be that bad ass I'm going to side with them
